Some real estate deals are routine and some are complicated. My deal was complicated. I was buying the property as an investment and it could not be considered a second home because I already have a second home. I had entered into an agreement with a partner who had the original contract on the property. So, the first order of business was to get the contract in my name but the sellers lived out of state. I was going to leave town for an extended stay within a few weeks, so we needed to close before I left. We also had renters lined up who wanted to get in as soon as possible. Team Hiller got the contract changed to my name, and to meet out time lines. They then arranged for financing with a mortgage broker who could meet our time line. They worked with all parties every step of the way. Bottom line is we closed the day before I left and the renters moved in that afternoon. They went above and beyond what you would ordinarily expect.
